Rick Daigneault - Advisor

Rick Daigneault and his Wife Barbara reside in Windsor, VA and are a part of the Colonial Virginia Council. They have three sons who were all involved in the Scouting program. Rick is retired from the United States Navy and now works as an Engineering Tech at a shipyard in the Norfolk VA area. A Scout leader for 20 years and has served as a Cub Scout Leader, Scoutmaster, Venturing Crew Advisor, and Colonial Virginia Council VOA Advisor.  His Scouting service includes staffing as Cub Scout Day Camp Lifeguard, BALOO, OLS, University of Scouting, and Powder Horn instructor. Rick has experienced 3 National Jamborees and the Summit Shakedown as both a National Safety Staff member and a Contingent Troop Assistant Scoutmaster.

 

He is certified as a USA Archery level 2 instructor and an American Red Cross and ECSC First Aid, CPR, and Wilderness First Aid instructor. Rick has been honored with the District Award of Merit, Triple Crown Award, Order or the Arrow Vigil, Council and Area Venturing Leadership Award, and the Silver Beaver.
