Southern Region Area 7 Venturing

  Soren joined the Venturing program in 2016 with Crew 773 in Blue Ridge Mountains Council. She has served as Vice President of Administrations and now serves as their Vice President of Communications.

  She has earned her  Discovery Award and taught Project Management online. Soren’s favorite events were both this past year, VenturingFest 2018 and TLV 2018. She has both participated in and staffed NYLT and has been on Camp Ottari Summer Camp Staff.

This year, she staffed Winterfest. She says" Outside of scouting my main job is definitely school. This year I am finishing up my junior year and beginning to look around at colleges. In addition to school, I work at Chick-Fil-A, and just got a brand new puppy named Maverick. In quarantine my favorite hobby I’ve picked up is learning to play the guitar. I’ve been meaning to do it for years and just never got around to it"

Currently, Soren lives in Salem, Virginia where she is a senior in high school and plays softball.
